A blog about my letters and stories for you, Nicholas.
Letters to Nicholas

One response to “Letters to Nicholas”
Dear Nicholas,
If you ever find this space, I want you to know what it is — and why it exists.
This blog isn’t here to convince you of anything or to pull you away from anything. It’s here because I’m your mother, and I needed a place to put all the love, memories, and words that never had a place to land.
We haven’t spoken in a long time. I don’t know what you believe about me. But I do know this: I’ve loved you every single day, even in silence. Even when you couldn’t hear me.
I made this blog because I needed you to have a piece of the truth. A quiet record of everything I’ve felt, remembered, and hoped for. Letters, photos, thoughts—small pieces of a life that always included you, even when you weren’t near.
This is not a space of blame or pain. It’s a space of presence.
Because the world may have made it look like I disappeared — but I didn’t.
You are my son.
You always will be.
And this blog is just my way of holding the door open, in case one day you decide to walk through it.
